Increase vs reduce: which do you need?
Most tools shrink images, but plenty of forms have the opposite problem: a minimum size. Scholarship, exam and government portals often specify a range like 20–50KB, and a heavily-compressed phone screenshot or an old scan can fall under the floor. When a form rejects your photo for being too small, you need to increase its file size — not its dimensions — to the required KB.
